There are plenty places in the world where one can have a Spa treatment, but only a few where your wellness session might be extended due to unique sightings of visiting wildlife .... and to experience nature’s ability to quiet the mind.
Having a separate entrance, a private deck and views over the lagoon, all guests enjoying their safari experience in the Luangwa Valley can easily arrange a visit to the award winning Bush-Spa.
We will gladly arrange complimentary transfers to and from the Bush-Spa to any of the South Luangwa Camps or Lodges within the vicinity for a minimum of 2 guests.
Award winning Mfuwe Lodge is set inside the park, just five minutes’ drive from the main gate.
Its thatched buildings are arranged around two lagoons where an endless stream of wildlife will keep you enthralled as you lounge on the open deck, take a dip in the swimming pool or visit the Bush-Spa!
This region of the park is renowned for its prolific game – giraffe, buffalo, antelope, crocodile are constant visitors to Mfuwe Lodge’s lagoon, whilst in November the local elephants regularly wander right through the lobby, lured by a nearby wild mango tree.

Whether you stay overnight, or just have lunch en route to a bushcamp, the Bush-Spa’s relaxed charm and surroundings make it the perfect stopover.
Obviously the Bush-Spa is a "not to miss" feature of Mfuwe lodge or worth a visit to anyone going on safari!
